Magadan Region’s gold output rises 14% to 13.4 tns in Jan–Jun
MAGADAN, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Gold output of Russia’s Magadan Region increased 14.39% on the year to 358.961 tonnes in January–June, a representative of the regional government’s natural resources department told PRIME on Thursday.
Ore gold output rose 25.52% to 9.062 tonnes, alluvial gold one fell 3.38% to 4.37 tonnes.
Silver output fell 2.82% to 358.961 tonnes in the period.
Magadan Region’s gold output rose 18.23% to 32.951 tonnes in 2017. In 2018, gold production in the region is projected at 37.1 tonnes.
